The gym: A follow up

I talked to the girls at work about the naked men in the changing room. They told me that this was normal and the girls do it too. It's considered a bonding experience, and you become better friends by being naked together and discussing your private parts.

Another bonding experience I've heard of is almost just as weird. My Canadian co-worker has told me that if I ever am walking the streets at 3 or 4 am I may see some really bloody fights. She told me that she has tried to break up several of them and each time both combatants have told her, "It's okay. We're friends." She and I went to dinner with a Korean guy and she asked him about this. He said that Koreans get together and drink a lot. Then they fight. And the next morning they see each others bloody and bruised faces and they apologize profusely. Supposedly, you become better friends in the morning.

I don't think I'm going to me making any friends here in Korea.
