Halloween

There was a Halloween party at my school on Friday. I put pictures up on the picture site. There is only one with me, but I'm going to exchange photos with a Korean teacher and she has some with me in there.
Halloween was fun. In one room there was pumkin bowling where the kids used pumkins to knock down the pins. And kids putted golf balls into Jack-O-Lanterns in the other room. I made a girl cry, though. During a game of golf one team that was all girls decided they weren't going to play any more. There was twenty minutes left for the game and twenty minutes with only one team would lead to no game (and no game equals chaos caused by bored kids). So to prevent chaos I pulled the leader of the girl clique out of her chair and got her playing. All the other girls started playing except one who started to cry. Canadian Nicole told me she was upset because she either was scared that I would make her play too, or she was jealous that I didn't insist that she had to play. I still don't know what the reason for the the crying, but just that my action or inaction was the cause.
For Halloween I dressed up as a Korean. I wore my director's husband's traditional Korean jacket. It was very dark red and it looked black without any sunlight. The kids all thought I was the grim reaper. I think looked like I was heading off to a graduation ceremony.
Afterwards, all the employees went to and Indian food restaurant. My boss said she was terrified because her stomach is not used to any food other that Korean. She didn't have anything to worry about, though, because the Indian food tasted just like Korean food. Koreans are funny with their food. In one of my classes we were talking about travelling to other countries. One kid said he had been to Singapore. I asked if the food was good and he said it was. I asked what kind of food he ate. He looked at me weird and said he only ate Korean food.
